Our Team

We have a great team at Junction City Retirement & Assisted Living Community – guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun. Contact us anytime, we would love to meet you!

Disree Hewitson

Community Relations Director

Born and raised in Eugene, OR, Disree Hewitson returned to her hometown in 2015 after living in several states across the U.S. She brings four years of experience as a Community Relations Director and serves as a board member for the Lane Senior Support Coalition, which raises funds to support low-income seniors in Lane County, including Junction City.

Disree began her career as a caregiver, earning CNA training through Dare to Care in Eugene, and has worked in rehab, group home settings, and as a Personal Service Worker for the state in Developmental Disabilities. Her passion for connecting with people naturally led her to community relations in senior living, where she excels at building relationships and creating meaningful experiences for residents and families.

Outside of work, Disree loves to travel—having even worked on a cruise ship for several years, which she often likens to senior living “on land.” She enjoys hiking, camping, volunteering, and spending time with her artsy daughter and son, who will soon join the Army National Guard.

Cyndi Lou Beeler

Business Office Manager

Cyndi Lou graduated from the University of Denver’s Morgridge College earning her master’s in library and information science. This gives her the unique ability to structure and organize the Business Office at Junction City Assisted Living. With her combined experience in direct care and management she has jumped in wholeheartedly here in her hometown. When she is not in her office, she is busy at home taking care of her two young boys and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Caitlin Knutson

Dining Services Director

Caitlin has worked in the caregiving field since 2010, bringing over a decade of experience to her work in senior living. Over the years, she has served in a variety of roles, including Life Enrichment Director, and currently as the Dietary Services Director. No matter the position, Caitlin remains passionate about creating supportive, engaging, and nurturing environments for those in her care.

Outside of work, Caitlin finds peace and inspiration in nature—whether she’s hiking, camping, capturing landscapes through photography, rock hunting, stargazing, or watching the sunrise. She also enjoys writing poetry, reading, cooking, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Her daughter, Freya, is the light of her life and a daily reminder of the importance of compassion, purpose, and being present in every moment.

In her new role, she continues to make sure every resident feels seen, heard, and cared for—now through meaningful programs, joyful moments, and daily connection. When she’s not planning engaging activities, Mikayla is at home with her husband and two delightful daughters, expertly navigating bedtime negotiations like a seasoned diplomat. A devoted reader, she believes there’s no problem that can’t be solved with a good book. Organized, thoughtful, and full of heart and humor, Mikayla brings energy and creativity to everything she does.

William Knutson

Maintenance Director

Since 2023, William has brought energy, humor, and heart to our team as our Maintenance Assistant and weekend Concierge. Before joining us, William chased the thrill of the skies through skydiving. These days, he enjoys a different kind of peace—spending time with his beloved wife and daughter, and casting a line whenever he gets the chance to fish. Known for his quick wit and contagious laughter, William is as likeable as they come. Whether he’s fixing a problem, making someone smile, or sneaking a few pickles, William is a valued and unforgettable part of our community.
