Shawna Weist
Administrator / Community Relations Director
View Bio
Shawna Weist has worked as the Administrator for Neawanna since January 2019 and has worked with seniors for over 20 years. Her passion to work with the elderly came after seeing how difficult it was for her own family to find care and help for her grandfather after her grandmother passed away.
Shawna has been married to her husband for over 20 years with a blended family of 6 grown boys and has 12 grandchildren. When not working Shawna loves to travel, spend time with family, and of course loves spending time on the beach!
Wall-E, as seen in the photo, is Shawna’s Pitbull mix who loves to come to work so he can visit the staff & residents. He first came to Neawanna when he was just a couple months old and now has decided to work a couple hours a week. The team and residents have decided that Wall-E is now the community mascot.
