Our Team

We have a great team at Shawnee Memory Care – guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun. Contact us anytime, we would love to meet you!

Teri Ellis

Executive Director

Teri has been a nurse since 1997 and a licensed Assisted Living Administrator since 2013. She decided to pursue a career in senior care so that she could carry on her mother’s legacy of mission work for the elders. She has a fervent desire to ensure that our residents are safe, comfortable, and happy. Teri enjoys spending time with family, going to church, camping, fishing, and gardening in her free time.

Alexis (Lexi) Wong

Community Relations Director

After graduating from college in 2022, Lexi moved back to Oklahoma to help take care of her grandfather who was living with dementia. It was during that time she realized that she had a passion for seniors and wanted to help other families become educated and know that they have support. Her favorite moments are spending time with the residents and seeing them smile. In her free time, Lexi enjoys being outside, spending time with friends and family, and playing water polo or card games.

Sheree Stewart

Business Office Director

Sheree was born and raised in Seminole, Oklahoma. She moved to Shawnee in 2018. She has been working in the accounting field since the early 1990’s. Sheree loves interacting with the residents throughout her workdays. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her significant other, racing slot cars and showing off their classic cars at the local car shows.

Cris Barry

Wellness Director

Cris has always really enjoyed elders and thought that she would be able to help make a difference in their lives. She became a nurse in 2001 and loves that she gets to serve others every day. Cris has been sharing her contagious laughter with Shawnee Memory Care since 2021. When she’s not taking care of others, spending time with her grandkids is her favorite past time.

Madison Truitt

Life Enrichment Coordinator

Madison has had a passion for seniors from a young age. In 2019, when an opportunity opened in the Activities Department, she knew it was where she was meant to be. She finds great joy in creating meaningful moments and bringing smiles to our residents each day. Outside of work, Madison enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her beloved cats and dogs.
