We have a great team at Blossom Vale Senior Living. Come meet them in person.
Shanti Bhatti-Wills: Community Relations Director
Shanti is the Community Relations Director at Blossom Vale. She embarked on her senior living career in 2014 and has loved every minute of it. Before that, she was a Patient Care Coordinator in the hearing aid arena for 7 years. She has always enjoyed working with seniors and had an early taste for it when she was the caregiver for her grandmother when she was younger. Shanti loves that she can help find the solution for family members and residents, especially if they are in immediate need. “I could sit and talk with our residents all day. They have amazing stories about their lives and they have different perspectives.”
Shanti recently married her best friend of 10 years and is looking forward to traveling the world with him and their future family. She has traveled to India with her father, where she had the opportunity to meet the Dalai Lama. “It was an amazingly spiritual experience!” Shanti’s motto is “Be the light. Smile, uplift and be kind.”
Danielle Shanklin: Business Office Coordinator
Danielle began working at Blossom Vale in 2014. Throughout the years, she has had the privilege of meeting so many families and to care for their loved ones. It brings Danielle happiness to know that she can make a difference in someone’s life by a small gesture and positive attitude.
Danielle started her career at Blossom Vale as a caregiver. As time went by, she moved from a Caregiver, to Lead Medication Technician, Resident Care Coordinator and now she is the Business Office Coordinator. Having the ability to grow within a senior living community has given Danielle an overall appreciation of Assisted Living and excitement for what is next to come.
Jessica Ainscough: Life Enrichment Director
Jessica has worked in senior case since 2001. Her first role in senior care was as a caregiver but over time she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Technician in addition to many other roles along the way. Each role has been very rewarding in its own special way. What she loves most about senior care is being able to enrich the lives of the residents she serves every day. But most of all she loves to be a source of joy and encouragement to her team and the residents served. Jessica has two children, Michael and Isabella. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family having movie nights, cooking dinner together and spending as much quality time with her children as possible.
Matilda: a team member guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun
Hi! My name is Matilda, and I am a canine resident at Blossom Vale Senior Living. I was born in 2018 and came here with my mommy in July 2019. I am the sixth basset hound she has owned. She loves our breed because of our long ears and lovable nature.
Life is pretty good here. I get a walk three times a day. I have lots of people-friends, so I have no shortage of belly rubs and pats on the head. I have many canine-friends too! For some reason all the cats seem to run away when they see me coming.
Besides playing with my favorite stuffed weasel toy, my favorite thing to do is jump on Mommy’s bed each evening, find a cuddle spot next to her, and sleep.
My job is to protect my Mommy – and since I know when she isn’t feeling well, I help her by being a good lovable Basset Hound. I hope all of my kisses will help her.
