Please ask to speak to our Administrator if you have questions or concerns about financial options and assistance. We understand that sometimes there are challenges with selling a house or going through the paperwork of getting approved for some programs such as Veterans Aid and Attendance.

We partner with several agencies and have resources that may be of benefit. Contact us to discuss your situation and learn about what options might be available to you.

Aging Solutions
This website includes a wealth of information, including articles, comprehensive checklists and links to key resources designed to make it easier for people caring for an aging parent or elderly spouse to quickly find the information they need and avoid missing things that are important in the care for their loved one.

Aid and Attendance Benefit for Veterans
Veteran's Administration benefits can help offset recurring medical costs including the cost of home care, nursing homes, assisted living, independent living, and personal (residential) care homes. The individual applying muse meet specific eligibility requirements and qualify both medically and financially. Alzheimer’s Association
Find local support groups, information and Alzheimer’s-related support services at the St. Louis Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Area 4 Agency on Aging
Your local Agency on Aging is a free resource center for seniors and older adults. This agency is also responsible for the volunteer long-term care ombudsman program and elder abuse prevention.

BenefitsCheckUp: A Service of the National Council on the Aging
A free, easy-to-use service that identifies federal and state assistance programs for older U.S. residents. Researching these programs used to be a time-consuming, frustrating experience, but the National Council on the Aging has created BenefitsCheckUp to help older adults quickly identify programs that may improve the quality of their lives. Family and friends can also obtain facts about benefits that their loved ones may qualify for. You may be surprised to learn what benefits are available to you, regardless of your income.

Center for Medicare Services: Medicaid Information
Offers an outline of services covered by the Medicaid program. Describes services provided by nursing homes and hospices; rehabilitation; personal care; occupational and physical therapy; speech, hearing or language disorder therapy; treatment for individuals with mental diseases; targeted case management; home- and community-based care; and home health care. Discusses coverage considerations.

Department of Veterans Affairs
Benefits such as the Aid and Attendance benefit for wartime veterans and their spouses are available to assist with medical expenses such as assisted living. It is always free to apply and your local VA office and the Department of Veterans Affairs will be able to assist you in determining if you are eligible. 

Veterans Angels
Veterans Angels, Inc. is a non-profit corporation devoted to assisting senior veterans and spouses obtain a little known; little used tax-free benefit commonly referred to as the "Aid and Attendance Special Pension." Learn more about how Veterans Angels can help you apply for this benefit and determine if you qualify.
