It is imperative to check egos at the door and leave the baggage at home. You guys have mastered this and put the needs of the residents and their well-being first. In addition, the staff is so passionate about their caregiving. This combination is just almost unheard of. I am on the outside looking in and with each visit since the first time I walked in there, I see every staff member giving every resident and the other staff members nothing but dignity and respect. I thank God every day that my mama gets to live at a place where I truly trust the people to take good care of her!! That means the world to me!!! Living far away from my mama is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to deal with in life! She and I were super close. We talked on the phone at least once a day, and did something together at least once a week. Plus our family was always doing things with her also. The ONLY reason I can even deal with this situation is I know she is where God wants her to be!! She is at the best memory care facility in the world!! I am forever grateful to all of you!!! "I would like to congratulate Reflections at Garden Place in St. Louis, MO for receiving the Deficiency Free State Survey for 2019. My mother, originally from Panama City, FL, moved to St Louis with my sister, my brother-in-law, nieces, and nephews after her home was severely damaged during Hurricane Michael. Within weeks of the storm my mom showed major symptoms of PTSD, followed by a stroke, and then dementia. My sister's 3 story house became unsafe for my mom. She needed 24/7 care. My sister and brother-in-law found Reflections at Garden Place. We are all very pleased with the care my mom receives there. They are clean, caring, provide daily activities, and kind to their clients. I highly recommend Reflections for anyone that has a family member with needs that can be met at Reflections.
