Our curated menus feature homestyle favorites, seasonal specialties, and Alzheimer’s and dementia-friendly options—all made from scratch with care. We also provide nutritious snacks, a hydration program, and personalized diet accommodations to support each resident’s health and well-being.

Meals here are more than nourishment, they’re an opportunity to gather, connect, and share. In our dining room, every experience encourages conversation, friendship, and community. Whenever possible, we bring in locally sourced produce and meats for the freshest flavors.

Life Enrichment

At Wildflower Lodge Senior Living, we believe elderhood is a time to be celebrated—the crescendo of a lifetime. Our Life Enrichment programs are thoughtfully designed to enhance every dimension of wellness—social, creative, spiritual, purposeful, and overall well-being bringing joy, meaning, and fulfillment to each day. Through meaningful connections, creative expression, and new adventures, we empower residents to embrace their passions, discover new ones, and truly thrive in a supportive, person-centered community.

At our community, Growth and Wellness Plans go beyond traditional care plans. Instead of focusing on limitations or diagnoses, we focus on each person’s strengths, goals, and passions. Together, we create a plan that supports well-being—physically, emotionally, and socially—so residents can continue to grow, stay connected, and live with purpose in a caring community.

We embrace an elder-directed, person-centered world for the elders and care teams living and working at JWildflower Lodge Senior Living. We have an Eden Alternative® Associate and Eden Alternative® Educator on our Compass Senior Living team, who are championing this culture for Wildflower Lodge.

At Compass Senior Living, we have the privilege of hearing the wisdom, humor, and small but meaningful stories from elders who have lived nearly a century. Each story—whether a cherished memory, a life lesson, or a moment of joy—offers a unique window into a life well-lived.

Through our simple process of capturing these stories, we create an enriching experience for both the storyteller and the listener. Residents share their adventures, challenges, and insights, forming deeper connections and preserving their legacy for generations to come—complete with voices, photos, and personal reflections.

The Tiny Stories™ Project has already preserved hundreds of stories told from our residents’ perspectives.

Circle of Friends™ is built on the fundamental human needs for connection, love, belonging, and purpose. In these gatherings, residents and care team members come together with a shared intention, guided by a facilitator.

Activities may include conversation, creative expression, cognitive exercises, music, goal setting, or community engagement—anything that fosters connection and engagement. At our core, we are social beings, and meaningful conversation is one of the most powerful ways to connect. Circle of Friends™ helps residents rediscover these connections, nurture relationships, and support overall well-being, especially as friends and loved ones may no longer be nearby.

The Compass Café offers an enhanced dining experience that complements our daily menu. Meals are thoughtfully designed to meet residents’ nutritional needs while providing variety and honoring personal preferences.

Menus are refreshed every 4–6 months to feature seasonal ingredients and community favorites, and special options are included for residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia. The Compass Café blends tradition with innovation—bringing comfort, choice, and flavor to every meal.
