Jackie brings extensive experience in senior living to Hawks Ridge Assisted Living, beginning her career in this field in 2009. She has a strong passion for serving families and feels honored to support them through their journey of finding care for loved ones. With her understanding and insight, Jackie helps put families at ease when it's time to make important care decisions. Known for her warm and bubbly personality, she enjoys the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, you’ll often find her hiking, paddle boarding, swimming in local rivers, or taking cruises to explore the world. Rachel Lahti is a dedicated senior living professional who has been working in the industry since 2014. She has held a variety of roles including Concierge, Activities Director, Marketing Director, and Regional Director of Sales. Her passion for working with seniors stems from her genuine desire to bring joy and comfort to those in vulnerable stages of life, a mission that brings her personal fulfillment. Outside of work, Rachel loves fishing, spending time in nature, and cherishing moments with her family. Her warm-hearted approach and commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors make her a valued leader and advocate in her field.

Barbara Plummer
Resident Care Coordinator

Barbara grew up in Roseburg, Oregon and comes from a family with generations of being caregivers and firefighters. She began assisting with care for a family member when she was a teenager and decided to work as a care partner and medication technical at a behavioral facility for seniors for four years before she joined our team at Hawks Ridge.
She has worked in various roles such as a care partner, lead care partner trainer, medication technician and now resident care coordinator for assisted living. Barbara loves putting smiles on residents' faces, spending time with them and bringing comfort, positivity, and happiness to their lives and home. In the future, she hopes to go into nursing to gain more knowledge, experiences and be available to care for them as much as possible. In her free time, you can find her going on trips, camping, swimming, exploring, and making as many memories as possible with her six children and husband.

Donna joins our community with over 20 years of skilled nursing experience. In 2004, she was an LPN, and by 2005 she became an RN. She enjoys family, animals, vegetable gardening, and is an experienced home chef. She is always curious, loves learning new things, and enjoys finding commonalities with everyone she meets. She always strives to help everyone she meets realize their unique place in our loving community.

Jeff has cultivated a remarkable cooking career spanning 12 years, showcasing his dedication, creativity, and expertise in the culinary arts. With a deep passion for flavors and presentation, he has honed his skills in diverse cuisines, mastering techniques and creating memorable dining experiences. Throughout his journey, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and hospitality, earning respect and recognition in the culinary world. His 12-year experience reflects not just professional growth but an enduring love for the art of cooking that continues to inspire both peers and patrons alike.
In addition, Jeff’s favorite hobby, playing video games, brings him immense joy and relaxation. Whether diving into immersive worlds, challenging his skills in competitive matches, or exploring captivating storylines, gaming serves as a source of entertainment and creativity. It allows him to unwind, connect with friends, and experience the thrill of adventure—all from the comfort of his own home.

Ryan Gardiner
Life Enrichment Director

Ryan Gardiner, our Life Enrichment Director looks forward to working with the residents and team members each day. His background is quite varied, having lived in many places. He was born in Oklahoma, spent six years in southern Germany, attended middle and high school in St. Louis, Missouri, and went to college in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. After college, he moved to Idaho, where he met his beautiful girlfriend. The two of them then relocated to the Gorge, where they have lived since 2022.
Most of Ryan’s experience with directing activities comes from his work in conservation, natural history, and education. He has led canoeing and kayaking adventures, fought forest fires, conducted population and habitat monitoring projects, and worked as an educator in a classroom setting. With this diverse background, he hopes to incorporate new ideas and past successes into the activity calendar while remaining open to suggestions.

Andrew Worley
Maintenance Director

Since 2012, Andrew has gained experience in residential and commercial maintenance, including two years as a regional maintenance manager. He genuinely cares for the people he works with and believes that quality care is invaluable. Having personally experienced the long-term medical care of his wife, he is committed to serving with the highest level of integrity while honoring each resident's inherent dignity as a human being.
Currently pursuing a Master of Divinity through Western Seminary, Andrew also volunteers part-time at his local church, contributing to the worship team and various outreach ministries. A proud husband and stepfather of three, he enjoys cooking for his family, taking road trips, and riding his motorcycle with his wife during the summer.
