Emily has been in the Assisted Living industry since 2004. She started her career as a housekeeper and has served in various positions within each building before becoming an Executive Director in 2013. Emily has been an Administrator and Executive director in assisted livings across the state of Oregon and Washington. Emily has a daughter and a son, and she is also a dog parent of 2 chihuahuas- Jake and Ford. On most weekends you will find Emily at Woodburn Dragstrip where she pilots her grandfather’s 1968 El Camino, racing is a family affair as her grandparents, parents and children also drive. If Emily is not Drag Racing, she is outside hiking, fishing, or finding a music festival to attend.

Melinda Ehlers

Melinda has worked in the long-term care field for nearly a decade and started at Wildflower Lodge in 2024. Melinda enjoys building relationships with residents and their families. In her free time, she loves to ride motorcycles and explore the globe as well as spend time with her fiancé, 5 children and 6 grandchildren.

Carliene Bolen

Carliene has worked in the health care field since 1999 and started at Wildflower Lodge in 2019. She previously worked at Wildflower Lodge in 2001 for 10 years. Carliene then moved back to her hometown in the Willamette Valley but decided that Union County is home, so she came back to Wildflower Lodge. Spending time with residents and their families at work is her favorite. Carliene enjoys spending time outdoors on her farm and in the garden, she enjoys quilting, sewing, scrapbooking and other outdoor activities. Carliene also adores spending time with her family and her two grandchildren.

Ashlyn Hull

Ashlyn joined our Wildflower team in September of 2022. Since 2016, Ashlyn became an expert in retail, hospitality and customer service. Ashlyn took a leap of faith and moved to Union County in 2021 all the way from Hilo, Hawaii with her family. During her free time, she enjoys long scenic drives, following the unknown paths in the mountains and enjoying nature. She also enjoys balloon decorating, playing her PS5 and occasionally relaxing on the sofa with her husband, two kids and her sweet German Shepard (Stella) bench watching their favorite tv shows.

Angela was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. She graduated from Las Cruces High School and attended NMSU. Prior to working at Desert Peaks, she was a merchandiser for several years. She has a passion for helping others and wants to help build the community and make sure others are welcomed.
On her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs, Tess and Baby.

Misti Vega
AL Resident Care Coordinator

Misti started at Wildflower Lodge in 2019 and is currently the Assisted Living Resident Care Coordinator. Her favorite part of her job is building and maintaining her relationship with the residents and their families. Misti loves animals and has a variety of pets ranging from cats, dogs, chickens, and horses. When she is not working, she is camping and horseback riding in the beautiful mountains of Eastern Oregon.

Lucy Thompson
Life Enrichment Director

Lucy relocated to Eastern Oregon from San Diego, California and has been working at Wildflower Lodge since 2018. She is passionate and devoted to enriching the lives of residents through meaningful and engaging activities. She enjoys any chance to make someone laugh and make their day a little brighter. Outside of work, Lucy enjoys playing with her three furry friends, going on spontaneous adventures with her husband, and spending time with family.

Mike Austin

Mike has over 3 decades of experience in the building trades and is a licensed electrician. He has been at Wildflower Lodge since 2023 and his hobbies include guitars, cars, and the outdoors. Mike enjoys spending his spare time with his family and their two dachshunds.
