Our Team

Gina Hudeck at HeatherWood Assisted Living & Memory Care

Gina Hudecek, Administrator

Gina Hudecek became part of HeatherWood’s family in 2017 as the Community Relations Director and is now the Administrator.

She completed the WALA 83.15 Administrator Course and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University, which landed her various advertising, public relations and marketing positions. Gina took time off to be a stay-at-home mom and discovered her love for volunteerism and fundraising. She also worked in the Eau Claire and Sun Prairie school districts, which opened more opportunities for giving back to the community.

Gina feels so blessed being able to serve the residents at HeatherWood and it’s her mission to make a difference in their lives. Gina enjoys everyday life with her husband, two boys and their dog, Cooper. When she is not with her family, you will see her walking her dog, running a 5K, taking pictures or volunteering at various places in the community.

Jenny Hall, Dining Services Director

Jenny Hall, Community Relations Director

Jenny joined the HeatherWood team in 2016 as our Dining Service Director. She studied at CVTC in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and has a background in Business Management, in addition she is a Certified Food Production Manager, accredited by the American National Standards Institute. She also holds her certificate of completion with the American Red Cross.

Jenny’s strong work ethic, passion for helping others, ensuring residents are enjoying life to its fullest is now demonstrated in her role as Community Relations Director. She enjoys meeting new people, loves building relationships with residents, their families and members of the community.

On a personal note, Jenny lives in Fall Creek, Wisconsin with her spouse and two boys. When not working, she enjoys entertaining, cooking, cleaning, interior decorating, gardening/landscaping, camping and spending quality time with friends and family.

Nicolette Johnson, Wellness Director at HeatherWood Assisted Living & Memory Care

Nicolette Johnson, Wellness Director

Nicolette joined HeatherWood as Lead Companion in 2015. She has a long history of medical and customer service experience. She obtained her Associates of Applied Science in Medical Assisting from Globe University in 2014. She holds certificates of completion for Certified Nursing Assistant, BLS, CPR, and Medication Management. In addition to her work in the medical field, she has many years of management experience in the food and beverage industry.

As Wellness Director, Nicolette’s attention to detail and due diligence gives residents and families peace of mind in knowing they’re well cared for. She takes pride in making our residents smile and having fun as she connects and makes sure their needs are met. Her consistent bright and welcoming smile is known and commented on by our residents.

In her personal time Nicolette enjoys going to her son Lavonte’s sporting events, especially baseball and football. She enjoys music, dancing and shopping. She enjoys rejuvenating her mind and body while practicing yoga. Traveling to new places and enjoying the varieties of amazing food are lifelong goals for Nicolette and she looks forward to adding to her experiences.

Heather Schiedler, Medication/ Wellness Assistant

Heather joined the HeatherWood team in 2019. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant, she also holds certificates for CPR, Medication Administration and most recently she attended CVTC for First Responder.

She has been in the healthcare field for many years working in group homes, State of Wisconsin run facilities as well as assisted living and memory care facilities.

Heather lives in Eau Claire with her two children Tristan and Brooklynn. Her family has three dogs and one cat.

During the school year, she enjoys attending her children's school events and sporting activities. In the summer, she spends her time up in Chetek camping, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. In her spare time, she volunteers her time with a non-profit organization for the Veterans.

Heidi Perry, Dining Services Director

Heidi joined the HeatherWood team in 2017 and has an extensive background in the food service industry. Heidi holds her SafeServe certification accredited by the State of Wisconsin. Besides the love of cooking, Heidi enjoys being a part of the HeatherWood community, visiting and building relationships with each resident and their families. Heidi lives in Eau Claire and enjoys attending events held throughout the Chippewa Valley. She is an active member in her church and loves spending time with her family and friends.

Amber Harris, Life Enrichment Coordinator

Amber has been a companion at HeatherWood since March of 2019. She has worked in other senior facilities over the past four years.

When Amber isn’t working with seniors, she spends a lot of her time as a volunteer. She has always enjoyed being around the elderly and feels it’s a privilege for her to give back to this wonderful generation.

She is looking forward to sharing her passion to help residents find joy in their everyday life as the Life Enrichment Coordinator.

Amber currently lives in Mondovi with her fiancé and their two cats. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, being outdoors, riding her horse and being with family and friends.

Noel Larson, Maintenance Director at HeatherWood Assisted Living & Memory Care

Noel Larson, Maintenance Director

Noel Larson, Maintenance Director, has been HeatherWood’s own “Mr. Fixit” since 2014. Formerly a Technology Education instructor, he has taught woodworking, metalworking, electronics, small engines, auto mechanics, building trades, and more—all of which have helped him earn that title of Mr. Fixit! When not fixing things or troubleshooting problems, Noel enjoys traveling with his wife to different countries, biking, and visiting friends over a cup of coffee. The best part of his days are making our residents happy and works for smiles, hugs, and high fives.
