Mike Phillips, Administrator

Mike Phillips, Administrator

Mike has worked in the Senior Living field since early 2019. Prior to that he worked in a non-profit that assisted individuals with disabilities or disadvantages. Mike chose this path due to his love and passion for helping others. He enjoys connecting with people and learning about their story.

Mike is originally from Speedway, Indiana. He ended up in Wisconsin after serving 6 years in the U.S. Army. Most of that time was spent stationed in Hawaii where Mike worked as an investigator on the Drug Suppression Team. He is very thankful to have found this region in Northwest Wisconsin often referred to as “God’s Country.”

When not at work Mike enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years. They have three adult children. Mike spent many years coaching youth sports when his children were younger. Now, he spends his time with his wife and good friends, traveling, snowmobiling, bowling, hunting, fishing, and attending Packer, Brewer, and MN Wild Hockey games.

Jenny Hall, Dining Services Director

Jenny Hall, Community Relations Director

Jenny joined the HeatherWood team in 2016 as our Dining Service Director. She studied at CVTC in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and has a background in Business Management, in addition she is a Certified Food Production Manager, accredited by the American National Standards Institute. She also holds her certificate of completion with the American Red Cross.

Jenny’s strong work ethic, passion for helping others, ensuring residents are enjoying life to its fullest is now demonstrated in her role as Community Relations Director. She enjoys meeting new people, loves building relationships with residents, their families and members of the community.

On a personal note, Jenny lives in Fall Creek, Wisconsin with her spouse and two boys. When not working, she enjoys entertaining, cooking, cleaning, interior decorating, gardening/landscaping, camping and spending quality time with friends and family.

Nicolette Johnson, Wellness Director at HeatherWood Assisted Living & Memory Care

Nicolette Johnson, Wellness Director

Nicolette joined HeatherWood as Lead Companion in 2015. She has a long history of medical and customer service experience. She obtained her Associates of Applied Science in Medical Assisting from Globe University in 2014. She holds certificates of completion for Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Management. In addition to her work in the medical field, she has many years of management experience in the food and beverage industry.

As Wellness Director, Nicolette’s attention to detail and due diligence gives residents and families peace of mind in knowing they’re well cared for. She takes pride in making our residents smile and having fun as she connects and makes sure their needs are met. Her consistent bright and welcoming smile is known and commented on by our residents.

In her personal time Nicolette enjoys going to her son Lavonte’s sporting events, especially baseball and football. She enjoys music, dancing and shopping. She enjoys rejuvenating her mind and body while practicing yoga. Traveling to new places and enjoying the varieties of amazing food are lifelong goals for Nicolette and she looks forward to adding to her experiences.

Heidi Perry, Dining Services Director

Heidi joined the HeatherWood team in 2017 and has an extensive background in the food service industry. Heidi holds her SafeServe certification accredited by the State of Wisconsin. Besides the love of cooking, Heidi enjoys being a part of the HeatherWood community, visiting and building relationships with each resident and their families. Heidi lives in Eau Claire and enjoys attending events held throughout the Chippewa Valley. She is an active member in her church and loves spending time with her family and friends.

Heather Dohney, Life Enrichment Director

Heather joined Heatherwood in June 2020. She has always had a heart to help people. Heather started out her career in healthcare with her very first job in a nursing home at 16 years old as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She would like to continue her education in Social Services/Administration. What she loves most about senior care is being able to enrich the lives and to bring a smile to every resident.

When Heather isn’t working she loves hiking, tubing, photography, traveling and spending time with her family. She lives for adventure and is always up for a new experience. Heather has one child, Niko who is her greatest blessing. Her favorite quote is “Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.” -Jennifer Lee

Rick Estrada, Maintenance Director

Rick joined the HeatherWood family in February 2020. Rick attended CVTC and earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science. He worked for AT&T as a Digital Electronics Specialist and retired in 2013 with 33 years of service.

He lives in Chippewa Falls with his wife and daughters. He enjoys spending time with his Teacup Yorkie, Sammy. He also enjoys concerts, nature, his grandchildren, good food and a hot cup of coffee.

Rick enjoys the daily interaction with the residents at HeatherWood and looks forward to helping them with their daily needs.
