Kelly Deutscher, LPN, began her nursing career in 1981. She has had many experiences in the nursing field from long term care to work in trauma units, clinics and hospitals. Throughout all of these experiences, Kelly realized that she loves taking care of people. She has been actively involved in the Alzheimer’s Association and is certified as a Dementia Care Specialist. Kelly began her position with HeatherWood in May of 2016, and is thrilled to continue her passion for serving older adults and developing relationships in Eau Claire and surrounding communities. At the end of each day, Kelly loves to know she has made a difference.
Noel Larson, Maintenance Director, has been HeatherWood’s own “Mr. Fixit” since 2014. Formerly a Technology Education instructor, he has taught woodworking, metalworking, electronics, small engines, auto mechanics, building trades, and more—all of which have helped him earn that title of Mr. Fixit! When not fixing things or troubleshooting problems, Noel enjoys traveling with his wife to different countries, biking, and visiting friends over a cup of coffee. The best part of his days are making our residents happy and works for smiles, hugs, and high fives.
Gina joined HeatherWood in June of 2017. Her background is in advertising, marketing, and public relations. Her passion is to help others and make a difference in the lives of others. Her close relationship with her grandparents and growing up serving those in the church has placed a love for seniors in her heart. Her goal if to be a blessing to the residents at HeatherWood and out in the community. Gina enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, volunteering, and taking pictures.
Jenny joined the HeatherWood team in August 2016. She studied at CVTC in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Jenny is a Certified Food Production Manager, accredited by the American National Standards Institute. She also holds her certificate of completion with the American Red Cross. Jenny enjoys pleasing and serving the residents at HeatherWood with tasty homemade and healthy meals, desserts, snacks, and a dull salad bar featuring fresh produce from our very own garden. She enjoys planning her menus specifically for the tastes of all the residents. Jenny plans menus according to the seasons and tailors them to themes for special events. She loves building relationships with the residents and their families and making sure they are exceptionally pleased with their dining experience.
Jenny lives in Fall Creek, Wisconsin with her fiancee, Tim, and their two boys, Dylon and Devon. When not working, she enjoys interior decorating, antiquing, gardening/landscaping, sporting events, camping, cleaning, cooking, entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends.
