"When my dad suffered a debilitating stroke I found it impossible to care for him at home and needed to find help. After trying other facilities I finally found Pennington Gardens. Pa found a new home and everyone treated him as family. As Pa's condition worsened his care needs increased and Pennington Gardens was able to "step up to the plate" and provide for him. As one's condition worsens and they need more help with the daily activities they sometimes are treated as "objects" or "tasks to be performed" instead of people. At Pennington Gardens Pa is treated as a person with dignity and respect in spite of his limitations and needs. Truly the staff at Pennington Gardens makes this organization stand out from the others. I can rest easily knowing that Pa is being treated all the time with dignity and respect and all his needs are being met."

"Being so close to my home, Pennington Gardens is the ideal location for my mom and aunt. It has a unique at-home, accepting atmosphere that makes them feel very comfortable and relaxed. They both appreciate the personal interaction from the staff and feel like they've become family, rather than just another person living in an apartment. My aunt is very happy with the attention she receives and all the activities. Mom really enjoys the comfort of her room and Pennington Gardens is spacious enough to accommodate her walking needs without having to go outside. The family rests easily knowing my mom and aunt are well cared for and that all their needs are being met."

"My mother came to Pennington Gardens five years ago. She had always lived independently in her own home and in a sudden turn of events, we found ourselves having to find assisted care for her immediately. Pennington Gardens saved us. The day she moved in she was greeted graciously and warmly. The entire staff made her transition as smooth and comfortable as possible. They encouraged her to participate in game activities, exercise class, outings, movie time and all other social get-togethers. To this day she loves all the activities, the food, the staff, the residents - everything that Pennington Gardens has to offer. It is comforting to know that she is as happy living at Pennington Gardens as she would be in her own home, which is no longer possible."

"Our dad has been a resident at Pennington Gardens since the fall of 2007. We've been extremely satisfied with the care he's received from the team - it is very compassionate and loving. We are very grateful that as his care needs have changed over time, the staff has been able to modify his plan to take care of him without disruption. The memory care unit is exceptional in my opinion. When his care needs do change or a concern is identified, I am contacted promptly and advised about his status. We are thankful for all Pennington Gardens is doing to make sure Dad is getting the very best care possible."

"After moving dad down from Prescott, we found Pennington Gardens to have all the right services at just the right price. Dad really enjoys the people and all the activities and social events. But the real attraction for us was Pennington Gardens' Memory Care program and the Garden Club."
