Guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun

Learn about our True North Values

Welcome to Sundial Assisted Living

The City of Redding is the county seat of Shasta County and sits on the Sacramento River in northern California. Redding is home of the famous Sundial bridge that accurately casts its gnomon shadow upon a dial once a year on Summer Solstice. We enjoy a sunny and mild climate all year round--perfect for those wanting warmer weather yet close to the beach and the mountains.

We provide assisted living services for seniors. Our wellness services and life enrichment opportunities are designed to maintain or improve the capabilities of each resident – with the emphasis on abilities and support to maintain independence.

At Sundial Assisted Living in Redding, California:

  • we encourage you to be independent when possible.
  • to maintain your community contacts.
  • to expand your horizons by sharing your talents, continuing to learn, and exploring the opportunity to try new things.

The Sundial residents and our care teams work and play together with passion, and are truly a family.  They have created this music video below to demonstrate their love of life, which is to embrace happiness and laughter!

Our team believes if you do the right thing, the right things happen. You will hear lots of laughter and giggles! Our team is guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun.

Tiny Stories

We have a unique opportunity to harvest the wisdom, the humor and memories we hear every day. We live and work beside elders who have journeyed almost a full century on this planet. Elders tell their stories of adventures, challenges, and wisdom acquired along their life journey. We invite you to join us on the journey.

Passion and Commitment

We provide wellness services and life enrichment opportunities to maintain or improve the capabilities of each resident – with the emphasis on abilities rather than disabilities. We warmly welcome you to experience the good people who live and work here and their loyalty and dedication to the greater good.
